Mo Salah Equals Premier League Record Of Most Goals In A 38-Game Season

He scored his 31st Premier League goal of the season against West Brom.

Another weekend, another bit of Mo Salah madness.

Last week, against Bournemouth, the Egyptian ace broke Didier Drogba's record for most goals scored by an African player in a single season and he equalled an even more impressive record against West Brom in today's early kick-off.

When substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain threaded through a perfectly-weighted pass through to Salah, the end result was inevitable.

Salah produced a succulently chipped finish, near-identical to his goal in the Champions League quarter final second leg against Manchester City, to add a second for Liverpool, before celebrating in front of the rabid Reds' supporters in the away end.

It was the 25-year old's 41st goal of the season and in finding the net, he joins an esteemed list of players to have scored 31 goals in the Premier League: Cristiano Ronaldo, Alan Shearer and the Anfield goal-machine that came before him, Luis Suarez.

With three games still to play, you'd bet your house on the PFA Player of the Year nominee on having another record to add to his ever-growing collection in what has been a sublime individual campaign.
