Incidents like this just put in perspective how precious life can be.

Here you had a young man dedicating his life to football. He left Argentina to pursue a career by moving to France, living in a boarding house.
His hard-work ultimately paid off as he broke into the Bordeaux first-team. Whilst it never worked out at the Ligue 1 club, he was prolific during his loan spells at Orleans and Niort which prompted a transfer to Nantes, where he rose to prominence.
Sala's performances caught the attention of Cardiff City, and he was on the verge of plying his trade in the most lucrative league in world football whilst achieving his dream after sealing a deal with the Welsh outfit.
However, a once in a lifetime opportunity has now evaporated following his devastating death.
A dream move has suddenly become a nightmare.

To work your way steadily to the top from the bottom brilliantly illustrates Sala's drive and ambition, but to have his dream and life taken away from him is truly heart-breaking.
No words to describe how sad this is. :sleepy: Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and also to the family of the pilot.:pray: #RIPsala pic.twitter.com/Uirj6etfZk

Sala's decision to realise his potential and to be the best he can be has unfairly cost him his life.
SPORTbible's condolences go out to Cardiff City and the friends & family of Sala at this difficult time.
