Since arriving at Anfield from Southampton in the Summer, Sadio Mane has endeared himself to Liverpool fans with a series of scintillating displays that have helped propel Jurgen Klopp's team to the top of the Premier League after 11 rounds of fixtures.
With the Senegalese winger in such a rich vein of form, the news that Mane is likely to be selected by his country for the African Cup Of Nations in January will come as a bitter blow to Liverpool fans, as his selection for the tournament will see him miss crucial Premier League games against Manchester United and Chelsea.

Mane has scored six goals and laid on another two in his 10 appearances for the Reds, this season. Jurgen Klopp will be praying that Senegal manager Aliou Cissé somehow forgets about his prized winger come the new year.
