Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is still yet to receive his first managerial job in football despite being linked with pretty much every club looking for a new boss.
When Francesco Guidolin was sacked by Swansea City in the season, Giggs was one of the leading contenders to take on the job at the Liberty Stadium, and confirmed that he did meet with club chiefs.
However, when providing punditry on an England game against Malta back in October, he stated he did not feel the club's ambitions matched his.

Speaking to ITV, he said:
"There I was enjoying my year out ... and I get the call off Swansea. I met with them a couple of times but in the end there was just mixed messages from the football side and the ownership side of the club.
"I just felt their ambitions did not really match mine, so it didn't quite work out."
Bob Bradley was appointed by Swansea and subsequently sacked and replaced by Paul Clement following a dismal run.

But another one of the Premier League's relegation strugglers reportedly have Giggs on their radar.

According to The Sun, Ryan Giggs is on the shortlist to become the next manager of Middlesbrough, currently 19th and seemingly resigned to relegation.

Following the sacking of Aitor Karanka in March, Steve Agnew was brought in as caretaker manager, he has tasted victory on just one occasion against recently relegated Sunderland in his eight games in charge.

Agnew was handed the job on a temporary basis until the end of the campaign, and though he remains the favourite to take on the job full-time given the faith chairman Steve Gibson has in him, other options are available and Giggs is said to be among the potential names.
No contact has been made as of yet, but Giggs is reportedly on the shortlist if Middlesbrough do indeed want a new man at the Riverside Stadium.

The 43-year old took charge of four games at Manchester United when David Moyes was sacked in April 2014, before serving as Louis van Gaal's assistant until the Dutchman was given the boot at Manchester United after two seasons.
