Man United Legend Ryan Giggs Names The Three Best Young Players In World Football
Sancho, 20, has become one of Europe's fastest-rising stars thanks to his scintillating form for Borussia Dortmund last season and in the current campaign.
And United, who were heavily linked with the England international last summer, are reportedly eyeing up a move for him when the transfer window opens.
Giggs, 46, named Sancho as one of his picks as he praised the Dortmund star's "bold decision" to leave Manchester City and play in Germany at a young age.
The Wales boss also named Sancho's Dortmund teammate Erling Haaland, who has been in fine goalscoring form since he signed in January.
And the final name in Giggs' top three was none other than United star Marcus Rashford, who he called a "talented" player.
Speaking of Rashford, the Red Devils legend told Laureus: "I've seen him coming through the ranks, such a talented player.
"And you have Jadon Sancho at Dortmund, a young player who's made the bold decision to leave Manchester City and go to another country at a young age. And he really has made a difference.
"His teammate as well, Erling Haaland who's scoring lots of goals."
Rashford, 22, has previously welcomed the idea of Sancho exiting Dortmund and arriving at Old Trafford.
The England international said during an Instagram Q&A last month: "He's like the new generation player.
"It's definitely exciting to watch the player he's becoming -- hopefully we can all play together. That would be good.
"He [Jadon Sancho] plays off the cuff. He's imaginative.
"I think in this generation, they're the things you need to be world class."
United legend Rio Ferdinand has also suggested that the Red Devils could have a "mouthwatering" front six if they sign Sancho in the summer window.
