Rumours Are Flying That Everton Have Decided To Sack Roberto Martinez

Unsurprisingly, after exiting the FA Cup and seeing the only chance of salvaging something from a bitterly underwhelming season disappear, their are reports circulating on social media that the Everton board have called a meeting and agreed to relieve Roberto Martinez of his managerial duties.

These rumours are just that at the moment and could easily just be social media hearsay, but the two Everton fans reporting the news don't appear to be troll accounts and have a respectable amount of followers between them, so there's no reason for us to believe that they're randomly just generating stories for cheap retweets and follows.

The likes of David Moyes, Guus Hiddink, Manuel Pellegrini and even Jose Mourinho are mentioned as potential successors to Martinez, with Moyes and Hiddink seemingly the most likely candidates to replace the Spaniard should the rumours prove to be accurate.
