Never change, Roy.

Roy Keane's take on Andrea Barzagli's stamp on Heung-Min Son in Juventus' Champions League last 16 win last night is vintage Roy Keane.

Barzagli and Son were involved in an incident whereby the Italian defender stamped on the South Korean, who was on the floor after the two competed for a header.

At first, it seemed like the 36-year old had accidentally trod on Son but he then left his studs in on the Spurs No.7 and this one looked pretty blatant.

Son reacted by kicking out, with Barzagli responding with a kick of his own.

Neither were shown a card by the referee. When Keane, prone to a stamp in his career at the top level, analysed the altercation on ITV's Champions League highlights, he really didn't make anything of it.

"You always get away with them ones, they are the ones that are accidentally meant," he said, smiling as he spoke.

"I don't mind them ones."

Lee Dixon let Keane say his piece because of his "superior knowledge" when it comes to stamps but then did offer his view on the incident.

"He has a go at him, kicks him to the ground, lands on him, lifts his foot up and has another go at him. If the referee sees that, I think he sends him off."

Here's how Twitter reacted:

After the stamp, Son put Spurs ahead at Wembley but goals from Juve's forwards Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala turned the game around.

To make matters worse for Tottenham fans, Barzagli was on hand to produce a sublime goal-line clearance to prevent a certain equaliser late on.
