Roy Keane took part in a Q&A on Gary Neville's podcast, marking his 50th birthday by answering a half century of questions.

The former Manchester United captain took his dog for a walk while in the company of his long-time colleague Neville for a feature on 'The Overlap' and it made for brilliant viewing.

In a seven-minute video, Neville asked Keane about his favourite TV show, favourite film, favourite food, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, himself of Patrick Vieira, his sporting idol, beard or clean shaven and unsurprisingly he was in very good form throughout.

The clip has already garnered over 200,000 views and thankfully, we will be getting a full episode of Keane in the near future.

But for now, here are the very best football-related bits from Keane's quickfire section with Neville.

Neville: Best goalkeeper you played with?

Keane: Peter Schmeichel. But I still think he was overrated. I don't think he was as good as everyone makes out. but he was still good.

Neville: Toughest opponent?

Keane: When I was younger I played against Gazza [Paul Gascoigne] and he was brilliant. But overall, Zinedine Zidane.

Neville: Best performance?

Keane: I probably done alright with Ireland in one or two big games against Holland and Portugal. Maybe in the World Cup against Italy.

Neville: Worst performance?

Keane: We played Real Madrid one time at home but I'd just tried yoga a few days before and I couldn't get going. I never got a kick and I was taken off. I remember thinking, 'I'm finished at top level football'.

Neville: Best atmosphere?

Keane: I think our games against Arsenal were pretty good.

Neville: Most hostile atmosphere?

Keane: I thought Leeds was good, away. Or when we used to go to Turkey.

Neville: Moment you still think about?

Keane: Maybe actually when I done my cruciate. A bit stupid but I don't think I deserved to do my cruciate for it.

Neville: Favourite game ever?

Keane: I think beating Spurs to win the league was good. I enjoyed that game.

Neville: 94' or 99' team?

Keane: I loved the '94 team. There were different characters and I'd just gone to United. I loved that dressing room.

Neville: Biggest regret?

Keane: Probably going to Ipswich.

Neville: Who is the greatest player of all-time?

Keane: Diego Maradona. I thought he was brilliant.

Neville: Best player you ever played with?

Keane: Because I played with them in the middle of the park, Butty or Scholesy. Probably Scholesy because he had a goal in him.

Neville: Who was better: Patrick Vieira or Roy Keane?

Keane: I thought I was better than Patrick. Yeah, me.

Neville: Phil or Gary [Neville]?

Keane: You were both very good players. I'd have to go with you because you did it longer. Phil was in different positions. He was more of a team player, he did different jobs, you didn't do any of that.

Neville: Ronaldo or Messi?

Keane: Ronaldo every day of the week.
