Ross Barkley Ran 5K In Just 16 Minutes

Ross Barkley has taken on the popular 5k run challenge and did it in just 16 minutes.

The '£5 for 5k Run For Heroes' challenge has gone viral on social media as it aims to raise money for the NHS amid the coronavirus outbreak.

And the Premier League midfielder has stunned football fans with his unbelievable effort.

The 26-year-old ran 5k in 16 minutes and 11 seconds to the dismay of many.

Chelsea revealed Barkley's incredible score on Twitter: "Ross Barkley's 5k!" The club posted with an image of his official distance covered and time.

Former Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole reacted to Barkley's time by claiming he'll try to beat it when he does his 5k run: "I will try beat that tomorrow," he said.

Naturally, the England midfielder's 5k blitz sent social media into overdrive.
