Cristiano Ronaldo Is The First Player In History To Win 100 Champions League Matches

Not for the first time; Cristiano Ronaldo made history last night following Juventus' victory against Valencia in the Champions League.

The Portuguese superstar may have not got on the score-sheet but he created his sides only goal of the game, brilliantly finding Mario Mandzukic who hit the back of the net.

Ronaldo did, though, record an incredible Champions League statistic following Juventus' 1-0 victory in Turin.

He has become the very first player in history to have 100 Champions League wins.

As a Manchester United player, Ronaldo enjoyed 26 Champions League victories, winning the 'Big Ears' in 2008.

He then won the European football-holy grail a staggering four times with Real Madrid, winning an absurd 71 Champions League games.

Since completing a £100 million transfer to Juventus in the summer, Ronaldo has won three Champions League matches including Tuesday's fixture versus Valencia to claim a space in the knockout round.

After making his Champions League debut in 2003, the 33-year-old is still going strong.

Ronaldo will be gunning for a SIXTH Champions League title as Juventus mount a challenge for the most prestigious prize in club football.

A truly magnificent achievement for one of the greatest players to ever play the beautiful game.
