Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe have been accused of being "Hollywood actors" ahead of the European Championships.

Portugal will take on debutants Iceland in their opening game of the tournament and the Iceland coach has amped up their impending meeting with a fiery verbal assault. Lars Lagerback identified the Real Madrid duo as Hollywood actors, singling out the Champions League Final where Pepe was at his usual gamesmanship.

"Portugal has one of the best players in the world, who is also a handy actor, we've seen a few good Portuguese movies. In the Champions League final against Atletico we saw another (Pepe) who could be in Hollywood."

The 67-year-old Swede finished by criticising these actions as well as believing UEFA should introduce video technology to punish them.

"I don't like these sort of acts. I'd like it if they were able to watch the videos after the game in order to punish this type of thing."

The minnows will compete in their very first competitive International tournament when they take on Portugal on Tuesday 14th June in Saint Etienne.
