Roma are well aware that the loss of Mohamed Salah leaves a gaping hole in the side and are on the look-out for a suitable replacement.
Salah's long-awaited move to Liverpool was officially announced last month, with Jurgen Klopp hoping the £35 million signing can take his stunning form last season, into the new campaign in his second crack at English football.

The 25-year old struck 15 times in all competitions, and registered 12 assists for the Giallorossi. It's not an easy task to find a winger capable of producing those sort of numbers, but Roma appear to have found the candidate who they feel can fill the void left by Salah.

Corriere Dello Sport say that Roma already started negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over the potential signing of Brazilian winger Lucas Moura.
The 24-year old moved to the French capital in 2013 from Sao Paulo for a fee of €45 million euros and has won 11 trophies, including four consecutive league titles before Monaco ended the club's reign of dominance last season, with PSG.

And he could be on the move this summer, with PSG placing a €30 million euros price tag on the Brazil international and Roma making moves to sign him according to reports.
Should a deal be thrashed out, Lucas would slot in at Roma as an out-and-out replacement for Salah and brings with him similar qualities that the Egyptian international displayed in abundance in his stint at the Stadio Olimpico.

In all competitions last season, Lucas boasted an impressive goal tally of 19 goals in 53 games for PSG, and contributed further with 11 assists from the right flank.
As far as replacing Salah goes, is Moura the leading candidate?
