Robin van Persie left Old Trafford in 2015 but the Dutch striker is still winning awards at his former club.
Now plying his trade in Turkey with Fenerbahce following a three-year stint with Manchester United, where he joined from Premier League rivals Arsenal, the 33-year-old subsequently won the title bagging an impressive 26 goals in the season, confirming the clubs 20th league triumph.
Three of the 26 goal tally came on the night they were confirmed as English champions. Van Persie netted a hat-trick against Aston Villa including a sublime volley.

And that goal proved to land him another United award claiming the best goal of any player with 100+ Premier League goals.
Van Persie was in attendance on Wednesday night for the Legends of Football awards ceremony celebrating the 25 players who have scored 100 or more goals in the Premier League.
He's also in line to make a return to his former club with Fenerbahce in two weeks time in the Europa League.
