Roberto Firmino has said he hopes AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson will be between the sticks for Liverpool next season.
The Brazilian has delivered some fresh quotes on the saga that has raged on for several weeks - ever since the Champions League final.
The Reds striker said: "He [Alisson] has asked me about Liverpool and I hope he will come here, but I know he has other proposals"

Firmino and the 25-year-old keeper have linked up ahead of the World Cup in Russia and Liverpool supporters are hopeful that the attacker can persuade the goalie to come to Anfield, the same way he did with Fabinho.
Fabinho joined Liverpool for a reported £45 million and it became apparent that Firmino was instrumental in getting the former Monaco midfielder to Merseyside.
The new Reds player said via the Liverpool Echo: 'We spoke a bit more about the infrastructure of the club, the city and we also spoke about the coaches and how they do their work, so I was able to know a bit more about Liverpool through Firmino. I had been with him at the Brazilian national team on a few occasions. I know he's a fantastic person, his background is from nice people."

Now the hope is that Firmino can work his magic on Alisson while the pair play together in Russia for national side Brazil.
Alisson is tipped for great things after a spellbinding season in the Italy capital. It appears that he's open to a move and that is good news for Liverpool, who are on a lookout for a new number one after Loris Karius' two mistakes cost them the Champions League in Kiev, Ukraine.
The Brazilian goalie would be a welcome addition to Jurgen Klopp's side, as he and the Reds look to build on their successes last season and perhaps challenge for a league title.
