Riyad Mahrez is "very depressed" after Manchester City ended their interest in the Leicester City winger.
The Algerian handed a transfer request and went AWOL from the Leicester squad as he tried to finally force a move away from the King Power Stadium, but with the two clubs very far apart in their valuations of the player, City walked away from the deal.
With the deal off, Mahrez has been left in a very sticky situation - and there have already been reports that his Foxes teammates are unhappy with him.

A friend of the Algerian international spoke to Sky Sports about the failed transfer and spoke of how the former Le Havre man is "depressed" about Leicester refusing to sanction a move for anything less than £95 million.
He went on to say that playing under Pep Guardiola is something he is desperate to do and he cannot understand Leicester's behaviour, revealing for the fourth consecutive transfer window, the club informed he will they would let him leave.
