Disgraced ex-Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has used his own personal blog to retaliate to Jamie Carragher, following their heated exchange on Twitter yesterday.
In case you missed the original spat, the pair traded insults after Keys took issue with Carragher for calling Arsenal's players cowards during Sky Sports' latest Monday Night Football, and asked the former Liverpool defender if his failure to win the Premier League title was down to cowardice.
However, Carragher swiftly responded, making reference to Keys' high-profile exit from Sky back in 2011 - and apparently winning the social media battle.

But whilst he might have fallen silent on Twitter, Keys has spent the last 12 hours or so cooking up a response, and published it via his blog earlier this afternoon.

In it, he takes aim at Carragher once again, with thinly-veiled references to 'analysts' throughout.

In one passage, Keys writes: "I was really disappointed to see Jamie Carragher call Arsenal's players 'cowards' after the game at Palace. 'Cowards'?
"There was a time in British history that kind of insult would bring men to arms at dawn in a pistol fight for honour. No. I'm sorry, those players could be accused of many things on the other night - but cowardice? No. No. No.
'I sometimes wonder how today's 'analysts' - few of whom have ever had the courage to coach themselves (is that cowardice?) would've reacted if we'd described their performances in the same way?
"Before you all start screaming again - what is cowardice in football? Is it failing to win the title year on year? Is it walking away from your country because you can't get a game?

"Is it messing up a penalty shoot out because you don't know the rules? No, of course not, it's none of those things, but you see how easy it is to get personal?"
