Ramos, Iniesta And Pique Exchange Tweets Ahead Of El Clasico

We're well used to Real Madrid and Barcelona players exchanging hostilities around El Clasicos, with Gerard Pique usually at the centre of any controversy. However, Pique, Sergio Ramos and Andres Iniesta have been remarkably civil ahead of the upcoming 3rd December clash.

In a disappointing turn of events, the Spanish trio have engaged in a spot of friendly back and forth on Twitter which is a far cry from the hostile, tension filled clashes of years gone by:

Translated from Spanish, Iniesta's initial tweet read, "Finish the week with a good feeling, having worked hard, not bad!#recovering #closer #stepbysteppic" with Ramos replying, "@andresiniesta8 See you at #elclásico? Hopefully we'll both make it. Keep going!" before Pique chimed in by tweeting, "We'll all be there, hope the best team wins! @SergioRamos@andresiniesta8".

Ramos then decidded to add a bit of spice to proceedings by tweeting, "@3gerardpique Obviously we are expecting you to be there as well! However, the three points are ours #ElClásico @andresiniesta8"to which Iniesta civilly replied, "Thanks and hopefully we all make it @3gerardpique, #ElClasico deserves it!! Lets not talk about the points"

Hopefully they're all a bit more fired up come 3rd December.
