It may have taken him a little bit longer to join the party than Ronaldo and Marcelo did, but Neymar has finally responded to Toni Kroos' rather inflammatory New Year's message.
Real Madrid's German midfielder infamously chose to remind everyone of Germany's 7-1 destruction of Brazil in the 2014 World Cup semi-finals, which drew the ire of his 'Los Blancos' teammate Marcelo, who was on the receiving end of the thrashing, as well as Brazil legend and World Cup winner Ronaldo, who had his own perfect response to the tweet.

Now, several days later, former Brazil captain and Barcelona forward Neymar has decided to get in on the act by following up a comment from another Instagram user, who had gently reminded Kroos of Brazil's World Cup haul in comparison to Germany's, with a simple emoji wave.
Slightly more subtle than Ronaldo's response, but a response all the same.

The next El Clasico, on 23rd April, where Kroos and Neymar will next be afforded the opportunity to go head-to-head, could be an even more interesting affair than usual if this little feud develops any further.
