Any player who dares to voice the slightest displeasure about their current situation at a club is now castigated by fans with increasing regularity, nowadays, so spare a thought for Vedran Janjetovic, who has had to endure pretty bizarre treatment when he swapped Sydney FC for Sydney Wanderers.
After four years with Sydney FC, Janjetovic joined Wanderers and when the two A-League rivals met recently, Sydney FC fans decided to pelt the goalkeeper with rubber snakes.

Fortunately for Wanderers, Janjetovic made a string of stunning saves during the derby game, keeping a clean sheet in the process as two rivals played out a 0-0 draw.
