Lukas Podolski has already trolled Tottenham in the aftermath of their humiliating 5-1 defeat to Newcastle, this afternoon which allowed Arsenal to leapfrop their North London neighbours into second place in the Premier League. And 'Lord' Nicklas Bendtner wasn't far behind with the teasing.
Bendtner may not have exactly been a fan favourite during his ill fated spell with the Gunners, spending the back end of his tenure in North London on loan at Sunderland and Juventus, but he does enjoy a certain cult status among some sections of supporters and will have done his reputation no harm with his post on Twitter soon after the final whistle blew on the 2015/16 Premier League season.

Spurs' implosion in the final few weeks is savagely disappointing for their fans, despite their automatic Champions League qualification. Having assumed a position of being Leicester's nearest challengers, points were surrendered against West Brom and Chelsea, before Mauricio Pochettino's men turned in sorry performances against Southampton and then against Newcastle, today.
Even more embarrassing for Spurs is the fact that, with today's game finely poised at 2-1, Newcastle went down to 10 men after Alexander Mitrovic was sent off. To lose 5-1 from that situation is nothing short of catastrophic and is something Arsenal fans will not allow them to forget in a hurry.
