MLS Ball Boys Are Absolute Savages

They are something else.

Beware of MLS ball boys.

Ball boys can often grab all the attention.

This little LAD in the States certainly did that following his moment of brilliance on the touchline.

We don't quite know when this happened but it's just come to our attention.

As the player retrieves the ball to take a throw-in, a ball boy incredibly intervenes in hilarious fashion.

So, this ball boy has the ball raised above his arms, ready to fire at the player. He eventually launches the ball at the MLS full-back just as he lifts the ball above his own head, connecting with the match-ball, spilling both balls onto the field.

Wow. Just wow.

Meanwhile, new MLS hero Wayne Rooney has been tearing it up following his transfer from Everton to D.C United.

From breathtaking last-ditch tackles, creating dramatic goals to scoring free-kicks in superb fashion.

He produced heroics against Orlando City then Portland Timbers to secure vital points for his side.

Against Timbers, the 32-year old leveled to make it 1-1 just before half-time after Samuel Armenteros had opened the scoring for the visitors, and then followed it up by curling in a sublime free-kick to make it 3-1 in the 68th minute.

The second angle really shows the whip Rooney was able to get on the strike.

Still got it!

England's record scorer Rooney has forged a reputation for being deadly from set-pieces and this 25-yard goal was just typical of him.

Yes, the goalkeeping is a tad questionable given the shot isn't right in the corner but we'll let it slide purely because it marks a tremendous few days for Rooney, who is helping steer D.C away from bottom place and giving them a chance of still making the Eastern Conference play-offs.
