Real Madrid's limited edition 'Icon' shirt is an absolute delight, so it was expected that it would be a tad more expensive than replica shirts, but it's even more extortionate than we thought it would be.
Images of the new shirt emerged on Adidas Football's official Instagram page last week and it certainly received plenty of positive feedback from fans on social media.
With the vintage ribbed round collar next to the modern logo and royal blue chest band, it's no surprise that it's been taking the internet by storm, yet the price is a major put-off.
The reliable FootyHeadlines suggested that the jersey would available for around £100 but, in an update on their site, they've noted that it is costlier than first anticipated - with the rare shirt actually commanding £130.

Granted, we live in an age where football shirts are anything but a bargain yet this feels a step too far, especially when you consider it's double the price of what the 17/18 home shirt is costing on Pro Direct.

The designs are so smart that Adidas will surely have no issue shifting them but it is a shame the price is so high.
