Real Madrid have reached the Champions League final for the fourth time in five years after defeating Bayern Munich on aggregate.

Zinedine Zidane's side saw off the Bundesliga outfit 4-3 on aggregate, winning 2-1 away in Munich last week before drawing 2-2 at the Bernabeu this evening.

Los Blancos had to rely on some slack goalkeeping by Bayern goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, as well as some heroic shotstopping from their own man in between the sticks, Keylor Navas.

It wasn't pretty in the end but Real won't mind one bit - they now have the chance to become the only team in history to win three Champions Leagues in a row.

Like last week in Munich, Joshua Kimmich opened the scoring early on before Karim Benzema bagged himself a double.

James Rodriguez notched a second-half equaliser against his parent club, joining an esteemed list of names to have scored for, and scored against Real in the Champions League.

The Bavarians kept knocking on the door, creating a whole host of clear-cut chances but couldn't get past Navas in inspired form.

Real will now wait to see whether they will be playing Liverpool or Roma in Kiev in the eagerly-anticipated final on 26 May.
