What a talent Marco Asensio is, and what a time he's having at the moment.
Tennis player and big Real Madrid fan Rafael Nadal played his part in the deal after seeing him in action for RCD Malloarca with Asensio joined €3.9 million (£2.5 million) and after spending another season on loan at Mallorca, as well as a temporary stint with Espanyol the following season, the Spaniard enjoyed a wonderful debut campaign at the Bernabeu.

The 21-year old figured 39 times for Real last season, scoring nine goals - including strikes in the UEFA Super Cup and Champions League final.
Asensio's rich vein of form has carried over into the Under 21 Euro's, with the Spaniard scoring a sensational hat-trick against Macedonia on Saturday.
And he was on song again last night against Portugal, playing a starring role in a 3-1 win for La Roja, and conjuring up this sublime 'no-look' pass in the first half:

The kid is brimming with confidnece at the moment and it's showing on the pitch with pieces of play like the above.
Though Portugal youngster Bruma was responsible for the best moment of the game, when he let rip and netted an emphatic volley from the edge of the box to make the score 2-1, fans on Twitter were once again in awe of Asensio:
There has been talk of Asensio wanting more game-time at Los Blancos next season, and a few clubs have been linked with making a move for him.

However, the latest Asensio-centric story is that Real are planning to extend the prodigy's deal by an extra year till 2023, as well as inserting a massive £310m release clause in his contract.

Having arrived for a steal, Asensio could potentially go down as one of the greatest signings in football history if his meteoric rise continues.
