Real Madrid are already pressing ahead with plans for next season, having secured the services of Eintracht Frankfurt sensation Luka Jovic in a reported €60 million deal.

Only recently Frankfurt announced they had exercised their option to outright purchase Jovic for a dirt-cheap €7 million from Benfica but now the 21-year old looks set to be playing his football at the Santiago Bernabeu as of next season.

Just two weeks ago it was said that Real were in 'advanced talks' to sign the in-form Serbian striker and it seems as though negotiations have been pretty smooth, with AS reporting that Los Blancos have agreed a summer move for Jovic, who will sign a six-year deal.

Frankfurt will make a substantial profit on the former Red Star Belgrade man, with €48 million going to the Bundesliga outfit and the remaining €12 million to former club Benfica thanks to a 20% sell-on-clause they included in his contract.

This season Jovic has exploded into one of the hottest, most in-demand strikers in European football - notching 29 goals and seven assists in all competitions.

He has nine goals to his name in Frankfurt's brilliant Europa League run - his latest strike coming in the 1-1 semi-final first leg draw with Chelsea on Thursday.

With his sensational form, Jovic had been the subject of interest from a whole host of leading European giants such as Manchester United, Manchester City, PSG and Barcelona but will now battle with Karim Benzema for the central striker berth at Real.

It's been said that Jovic has known for quite some time now that the Spanish capital would be his next destination and started to make contact through mutual friends to Real players ahead of the transfer.

The 13 time European champions have already added Porto's Éder Militao for next season as well as the addition of Jovic, but as per AS Real are ready to spend £460 million for Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen and Tanguy Ndombélé in a massive summer overhaul.
