Former Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado is set to come out of retirement to participate in Premier Futsal in India.

The emerging indoor league is still reeling from the big cue of luring Manchester United legend Paul Scholes out of retirement, while they have now tempted another Champions winner.

The 40-year-old boasts an extensive playing career having compiled over 254 appearances for the Los Blancos winning the coveted UEFA Champions League twice.

He then moved to the Blackburn Rovers in 2009 playing 66 times during a three year span.

Salgado also has 53 international caps after graduating from the Spanish under-18 to eventually the senior side.

The former Blackburn defender is the latest high-profile recruit to India. Figo, Deco, Scholes and now Salgado, who's next?
