Real Madrid fans have had their say on who the club should prioritise on signing in the summer out of Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard.

Diario AS ran a poll that had over 150,000 fans cast their votes for different players, which included the Chelsea ace and Manchester United star.

Well, it looks like Hazard topped fans' wishlists after taking home 53,700 votes.

So, what about Pogba, eh?

Well, the 26-year-old midfielder finished at the bottom of the poll.

The World Cup-winning Frenchman has been linked with Los Blancos for some time, but only 13,800 fans voted for him.

We say 'only' 13,800 because Madrid supporters voted for five other players ahead of him, including Hazard.

Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jović, who looks set to complete a £52.4m (€60m) move to the Santiago Bernabéu this summer, secured 34,700 votes in second place.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen came third with 25,300 votes, Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar was fourth with 16,900 and Lyon's Tanguy Ndombélé came fifth with 16,400.

Madrid are reportedly set for a massive clearout in the summer, with Los Blancos head coach Zinedine Zidane to receive the funds needed to overhaul his squad.

The Frenchman has already admitted that Gareth Bale, who has been linked with Spurs and Manchester United, could be shown the door this summer.

"I don't know if it's the last game for them or not, I don't know what's going to happen. Keylor [Navas] played well, but we'll see what happens next season," he said.

The 29-year-old Welsh winger was spotted going straight down the tunnel after Madrid's 2-0 loss to Real Betis, which was their final La Liga match of the season.

Zizou apologised for Bale not getting the opportunity to play in the match, but he suggested that it comes down to his choice in the end.

"I'm sorry he didn't get to play, but no-one knows what will happen," he explained.

"If I think a player doesn't fit in the team, I have to do what I think works best. No-one can change what Bale has done for the team, but as a coach, I have to live in the present.

"I make these decisions when it is right to do so, and I must act in the best interests of the team at all times."

Marcelo, who has had an up-and-down season at Madrid, has said that his side would be "back to our best" after their disappointing 2018-19 campaign.

"Real Madrid never gives up, we will fight for everything," he continued.

"We have won everything over recent years and one bad season does not take away from what Real Madrid is. The work starts now.

"We need to share the blame. We started badly and ended badly. We didn't want the season to be like this, we want to fight for every title.

"This was a hard season, for me it was hard personally. We tried everything we could to make the fans happy, that was not possible.

"Next season starts here, we need to look at what went wrong so we don't make the same mistakes."
