Group H is officially in the books.
Colombia top the group with six points after picking up consecutive wins against Poland then Senegal, which preceded a defeat to Japan.
Japan, meanwhile, finish second and also progress to the next round despite losing their last game of the group to Poland.
Senegal, who were actually leading group H at one point during their game, exit the World Cup based on picking up more yellow cards than Japan.
Poland were already eliminated from the tournament prior to their match versus Japan following back-to-back defeats to Senegal then Colombia.
England await either Colombia or Japan depending on their result against Belgium tonight.
Advert
Gareth Southgate's charges currently sit at the top of the table ahead of Belgium based on having received less yellow cards.
England vs. Belgium kicks-off at 7 pm (BST).
