Wembley Stadium Pitch Gets Ruined Ahead Of Spurs Vs. Manchester City

Wembley Stadium pitch is a mess a day before Spurs host Manchester City in the Premier League.
The home of football, as well as Spurs' temporary home, swapped football for NFL as Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles ran riot on Wembley's turf.
The pitch is in a desperate brown state with patches of green grass, and that was prior to the NFL fixture.

The pitch took a battering as the Eagles secured victory. Here's the state of the field before and after Sunday's NFL game:

This is one side of the Wembley pitch for tomorrow night's Spurs-Man City match. Best of luck controlling the ball on that. pic.twitter.com/LnrTI1XFd5

Despite the pitch looking rancid and it potentially being hard to play on, City defender Aymeric Laporte isn't concerned.
"I don't think it will affect us. We will concentrate on ourselves and that is the most important thing. The pitch is the same for both teams," he said.
"It will be a difficult match for us. All the matches in the Premier League and the Champions League are difficult."
Pep Guardiola's side will be seeking to gain all three points after falling to third position following Liverpool and Chelsea sealing victories over the weekend.
