Liverpool are once again involved in a controversial offside decision this afternoon after Sadio Mane opened the scoring against Bournemouth in the 23rd minute.

Mane, who has scored four goals in his last four games, found himself on the end of a James Milner cross in the first half, sending a powerful header past goalkeeper Artur Boruc.

It was a great finish from the Senegalese international, but there were shouts of offside from many.

Georginio Wijnaldum's effort in the 34th minute topped off an impressive first 45 minutes from Jurgen Klopp's side, but this offside call was the biggest talking point of this game.

It picked up plenty of traction on social media - even former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise commented on the decision:
