One Manchester United player was singled out for his shocking first half display.

Eric Bailly's absence from Jose Mourinho's defensive guard worried the United faithfuls prior to kick-off, especially with Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian lining up in the back four.

And it was the Italian who came under intense criticism for his performance. Liverpool's main threat, Mohamed Salah, gave the full-back a host of trouble who was the talk of the first half.
