In what could be his final game for the club, an emotional Harry Kane walked around the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on his own as he applauded fans who stayed behind after the final whistle.

Tottenham suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat in their final home game of the Premier League campaign against Aston Villa, with goals from Ollie Watkins and Sergio Reguilon [OG] sealing the points.

It was a flat performance from a Spurs side who have struggled in large parts this season. And with the news that their star striker could leave in the summer, fans will want to forget these past few months in a hurry.

Kane's farewell after the final whistle certainly looked ominous as he continues to be linked with a transfer.

It was reported on Monday that the England international has informed the club he wants to leave this summer, with Spurs placing a sensational price tag of ยฃ150 million on their star striker, according to Sportsmail.

The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have already been linked with a move for Kane, while Paris Saint-Germain also thought to be keen on his signature if he is willing to leave the Premier League.

It is believed Spurs are far from impressed by these reports and, amid the rumours, the absence of Kane in their latest social media video ahead of Wednesday's clash against Aston Villa got people talking.

In the clip, Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min and Emile Hojbjerg express their delight at having fans back to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, but the lack of their main man has concerned some supporters.
