While his club Borussia Dortmund struggled to draw against Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion on Friday night, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was pictured playing 5-a-side with his mates.

Dortmund recorded a disappointing 1-1 draw against Hertha as speculation continues to swirl around the Gabon international's potential move to Arsenal.

And rather than watching the game, Aubameyang was seen wearing the famous yellow with Ousmane Dembele's name on the back

Is that a subtle dig at the Bundesliga side?

Since being suspended and dropped for Dortmund's 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg after missing a team meeting, speculation has been rife about his future at the Westfalenstadion.

Aubameyang has since been pictured with an Arsenal fan, as well as the Instagram live with Sancho, but these latest developments are the biggest hint yet that the pacey forward will leave the Bundesliga side in January.

The Mirror understand that terms have been agreed with Aubameyang ahead of a potential transfer.

The report goes on to state that 28-year-old will be a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days.

Borussia Dortmund - what could have been

Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from Dortmund for some time and the fact that he has suspended three times in just over 12 months could be a huge reason behind his unstable future.

Thoughts on Aubameyang's attitude as rumours continue to emerge of a move to Arsenal?
