Furious Tottenham fans have called out Arsenal supporters' double standards after Alexandre Lacazette's clumsy foul on Paul Pogba.

Arsenal welcomed Manchester United to the Emirates for their Premier League clash on Thursday, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Spurs fans have previously defended star striker Harry Kane over harsh criticisms that he 'backs up' into players during matches and can cause injuries by doing so.

And now the London club's supporters have blasted Arsenal fans who have called out Kane after Lacazette was spotted doing a similar 'tactic.'

Arsenal star Lacazette backed up waiting for the ball to come down, only for the 29-year-old Frenchman to crash into Pogba as the United midfielder went for a header.

Both Lacazette and Pogba crashed to the floor from the ensuing collision, but that only provided Spurs fans with ammunition to call out the double standards from rival supporters.

"Can't believe Harry Kane just did that to Pogba," one fan said in response to the footage.

A second tweeted: "It's only Kane that has ever done that in the history of football, that's what other fans say anyway."

And a third Twitter user argued: "Kane does it and it's regarded as life-threatening. Anybody else and it's 'standing their ground.'"

While a fourth added: "He kneed [Harry] Maguire in the base of his back."

United remain second in the Premier League, but the Red Devils are now three points behind rivals Manchester City.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are eighth in the league table and are six points off from a top-four spot.
