Tomas Soucek Involved In Nasty Collision, Smiles And Carries On Like An Absolute Warrior

"It looks like he's just been through an absolute war in Hell in a Cell."

West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek saw blood pouring down his face after a nasty clash of heads in Sunday's game against Tottenham, although he simply smiled and carried on minutes later.

The 25-year-old Czech international, who has been in terrific form under David Moyes this season, managed to head the ball away during a dangerous attack from Spurs.

But in the meantime, he clashed heads with young full-back Japhet Tanganga.

He then blocked a shot, fell to the floor, grinned a little and eventually got up before being forced off the pitch. This guy is something else.

Soucek then had to go down the tunnel for treatment but returned not long after with a large amount of grease on his left eye, as well as stitches.

His heroic efforts certainly got social media talking during the first-half at the London Stadium, with many comparing the scene with WWE legends Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker.

Here are some reactions from social media on Sunday.

Michail Antonio has scored the only goal of the game so far as West Ham go into half-time break with a slender 1-0 lead.
