How is he not getting a start for Manchester United?

Can somebody tell me how and why Anthony Martial struggles to get into Manchester United's starting eleven on a weekly basis?

The 21-year-old has once again proved his doubters wrong on the international stage, producing an individual performance that categorically warrants a place in Jose Mourinho's team in the coming weeks.

No doubt about it.

From his lightning quick feet to assist strike partner Alexandre Lacazette to several lung-bursting runs that bamboozled the German defence, Martial gave viewers a real taste of what he could bring to Old Trafford if he is given enough minutes.

Jose Mourinho might want to go and check out this incredible individual performance from Tuesday night:

Even before the World Cup kicks off next year in Russia it is likely that France and Germany will be two of the favourites for the tournament.

Germany have been one of football's perennial winners when it comes to international football, whilst the French have been one of the favourites for every tournament ever since their World Cup win at home in 1998.

Right now, the two countries have some of the most ridiculous depth going and today French newspaper L'Equipe showed off their countries options by printing three different teams, that would all beat England:

So good are those team that Manchester United's Anthony Martial, who has six goals to his name for the Red Devils so far this season, is in the third side whilst Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette is in the second XI.

This might change after last night's performance, though.

Thoughts on Martial's performance against Germany on Tuesday night? Does he deserve a place in France's starting XI for the World Cup next year?

Does he warrant a starting place in Jose Mourinho's United side? Let us know in the comments.
