The Moment Thomas Gravesen Tried To Deck Robinho In Real Madrid Training Bust-Up
12 years ago, one of Los Blancos' most bizarre signings Thomas Gravesen was involved in a Real Madrid training ground bust-up.
Fabio Capello's Galacticos were in Austria for pre-season and the pair came to blows when Danish international Gravesen hit little Robinho with an ill-timed tackle in a training match.
Tempers were all and truly flared, with the former Everton midfielder seeing red and throwing punches in the direction of the Brazilian as players tried to seperate the two.
You can see the pure rage on his face in the following pictures.
A 30-year old Gravesen was preparing for his second full season at the Santiago Bernabeu after arriving in January 2005 and came under criticism from Capello following his actions.
"His behaviour? I don't like it - he wants everyone to do what he wants, and I have told him so," the Italian manager said.
"He is a little different but he works hard which is important to me."
However, Gravesen's work ethic wasn't enough for Capello to keep him in the Spanish capital.
The absolute nutter of a man was offloaded to Celtic by the time the end of the month, ending his utterly bizarre stint with Real Madrid.
The tough-tackling central midfielder then went back to Everton for a second short spell but faded into the background somewhat and didn't stay involved in football.
But, the last we heard of him, according to Danish newspaper BT, via Marca, was that he was having a whale of a time in his post-football ventures.
Reports say he was shrewd with his investments, played a fair bit of poker and was worth a whopping €100 million euros.
In addition to that, the latest information is that Gravesen is living in Las Vegas with Kamilla Persse, a Czech-American model.
What a man.
