This Weekend's World Cup Fixtures Are Seriously On Another Level

Cancel all your plans for June 30th and July 1st. I don't care if you're getting married and have already sent out invites.

Just rearrange and write some new ones because there's something very special on the horizon.

Jorge Sampaoli's Argentina side confirmed their place in the round of 16 after scraping past Nigeria in the final group stage tie and now we know just how it's going to play out this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, we begin with an absolute cracker. France will take on Argentina at 3pm in the opening game of the weekend, as Didier Deschamps side will be looking to improve on their distinctly average performances in recent days.

Later on in the day, Uruguay will face Portugal side at 7pm. Can Cristiano Ronaldo lead his side to the quarter finals?

Then Sunday afternoon will begin with another brilliant tie. Russia will face Spain in the early kick off a 3pm, and then underdogs Croatia will come up against Denmark at 7pm.
