Eden Hazard's penalty in the sixth minute against Tunisia means that we haven't had a single 0-0 in the 27 World Cup matches played so far, a new record in the history of the competition.

In addition, Eden Hazard's converted spot kick is the 13th penalty awarded at this World Cup.

You can't say it has been boring, that's for sure. Is this one of the greatest openings to a WC ever?

Belgium against Tunisia was full of stats. Romelu Lukaku became the first player to score in both of Belgium's opening two matches of a World Cup since Marc Wilmots in 2002.

And on the subject of Lukaku, no Belgium player has scored more goals at a World Cup or European Championships than the Manchester United forward.

It looks the 25-year-old he will be up there when it comes to the Golden Boot stakes, this year.

Belgium go into the second half with a narrow 2-1 lead, despite dominating for large spells of the first 45 minutes.
