He puts his family first, surprising his sister with a house as a birthday present. And everyone who meets him say he is an absolute gentleman.

But some sections of the media have done their very best to create this image that Raheem Sterling is this flash, cocky footballer.

He is singled out for no reason whatsoever but this week, people have come together to back the Manchester City winger.

In the past, Sterling has stayed relatively quiet on the matter but after footage showed Sterling being abused by some Chelsea fans as he collected the ball near the advertising boards at Stamford Bridge last weekend, he decided it was the right time to speak up.

Many fellow professionals have backed the 24-year-old since the post, and Twitter user Howard Hockin has done the same, detailing the amount of good Sterling does in his life.
