Of course, it would be no Champions League intro without that signature anthem which features throughout. Written by English composer Tony Britten in 1992 it is sure to raise goosebumps in pubs all around the UK this season.
In the clip, we see dazzling moments of skill from the competition's stars, including Mo Salah, Lionel Messi, and Neymar. We also see a beautiful volley from Edin Džeko and that bicycle-kick from Cristiano Ronaldo.
This seasons final saw Liverpool take on holders Real Madrid at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Ukraine. The game was level until Welshman Gareth Bale added a spectacular effort to put the Spanish powerhouse in front, he would then add his second of the night in the 83rd minute to secure Madrid's third consecutive title.
Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius was heavily criticised by fans and the media for two serious blunders, however, he was later diagnosed to be playing on with a concussion.
