If someone told you in the early 00's that Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger would one day share a laugh and a joke on the Old Trafford surface, you'd kindly tell them to jog on.
But on April 29, 2018, both Fergie and Wenger shared a truly memorable moment on the pitch that holds so many memories.
The former Manchester United boss handed over a gift to honour his friend on his final game at Old Trafford as an Arsenal manager.
Jose Mourinho, another bitter rival, even joined in for a photograph as the Old Trafford crowd once again applauded the man who lead Arsenal to seven FA Cup triumphs, 10 major trophies and over 800 Premier League games.
It was a moment of sheer class, but what did Ferguson hand Wenger before kick-off?

BBC reporter Simon Stone revealed what was exactly engraved on the vase Ferguson handed over to his former rival.
"Presenter to Arsene Wenger by Sir Alex Ferguson CBE and Jose Mourinho, on behalf of Manchester United Football Club in recognition of his services and achievements at Arsenal Football Club. 1996 to 2018."
A touch of class from the football club.
Wenger announced that he will end his 22 year spell at the club earlier this month.
"After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season." he said in a statement on Arsenal's official website.
"I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years. I managed the club with full commitment and integrity."
Great ovation for Wenger at Old Trafford -- warmer than the one he received at the Emirates last week oddly enough. Ferguson, Mourinho and Sanchez all sought him out for a handshake..- Mark Ogden (@MarkOgden_) April 29, 2018
"I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special." he continued.
"I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high.
"To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club. My love and support for ever."
