We got to see glimpses of Paul Pogba's leadership skills at the World Cup this summer, where he gave his French teammates a rousing speech before their incredible 4-3 win against Argentina in the round of 16.
It was a sign of things to come.
"He's one of the top, top players in the world."

Pogba, who has been criticised for his attitude and application throughout the season, looks to have been reinvigorated under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, finally fulfilling his potential with a couple of sublime performances against Cardiff and more recently, Huddersfield.
In that game, Pogba didn't just score two goals but he led his team from front to back. He controlled play and looked like the player we once knew at Juventus and France.
It was a real captain's performance from the 25-year-old, even his actions pre-match give us proof that things are going smoothly at Old Trafford.

Pogba decided to rally the troops with an inspired team talk, with quotes such as "When we go we go, pressing first ones!" and "Now we're at home. we're at home again. Same. Same. Same! We go strong. We start strong!"
It was like watching a completely different person under Jose Mourinho in recent months.
So happy for 3 points and 2 goals at home with our supporters and family there. Have great blessed holidays everyone, loads of love :star2: @ManUtd #mufc #heretocreate pic.twitter.com/R8gVwIxOzP

As mentioned earlier, during the World Cup though those who criticised the talented French midfielder were proved wrong as he was an integral part of their success in winning the tournament, including a goal in the final in which he brilliantly started the move.
Footage of his speech before the incredible 4-3 second round match against Argentina showed how much of a leader he is in Didier Deschamps dressing room but footage from before the final is even better.
The rousing and emotional speech must have inspired his teammates:
