The fact that Marouane Fellaini stopped Neymar from making an impact in the World Cup quarter-final may give some Manchester United fans a glimmer of hope as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Belgium progressed through to the semi-finals thanks to a Kevin de Bruyne strike and an own goal from Fernandinho, but the performance of Fellaini, who stopped the threat of a number of players, was a big reason behind the win.

He bossed the centre of midfield, using his power to stop the Brazilians from making a breakthrough, especially when coming up against Neymar.
Throughout the tie he managed to knock Neymar off the ball. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't pretty but it stopped the forward from causing problems in the final third.
The pair could come head to head when United face PSG in the Champions League Round of 16 tie in February and March, but can the 31-year-old stop Neymar from running the show again?
