Kylian Mbappe Was So Frustrated In His Post-Match Interview And It's Elite Mentality
At the age of 20, Kylian Mbappe isn't just a talent with the ball at his feet. The Paris-born forward has the mentality and drive to win everything there is to win in world football, and this post-match interview backs up that statement.
You'd think that, after a match-winning performance at Old Trafford, you would be somewhat pleased with the final result, but Mbappe wasn't exactly thrilled by his team's performance.
In a refreshing and honest interview, the World Cup winner was clearly frustrated with his sides inability to get a third.
"We are annoyed because we could have scored a third." he told RMC after the game.
"I think with a third it would have been over. I am going to prepare myself to score another in the 2nd leg!"
The guy didn't even crack a smile for most of the interview. It is elite mentality at it's finest.
Mbappe is hilarious. Just turned in a match-winning performance. At Old Trafford. In the Champions League. At 20. And he barely even seems happy in his post-match interview. 'I'm a bit frustrated because I could've got a third...' That's why he'll be the best in the world

This is why he will go on to become one of the all-time greats.
Mbappe's goal on the hour mark meant that he equaled the Brazilian Ronaldo's Champions League tally of 14 - he's still only 20 years of age, for goodness sake.
Kylian Mbappé: "We need people to support us. We are going to support Lyon next week. We need French football to go as far as possible. We need to stop being scared, because we are good!" (RMC)- Get French Football News (@GFFN) February 12, 2019
This is only the beginning for the PSG forward, who has been tipped to win Ballon d'Ors galore in the future, and many praised his performance against Manchester United.
Even though he wouldn't admit it himself.
Just another average night for Kylian Mbappé... :sunglasses: pic.twitter.com/CoMkAkpIxA

Mbappé didn't do a great deal tonight, but what he did do, was sheer quality. Especially in the 2nd half. With the right attitude, in the right league, the lad will feature heavily in the "finest player in the world" discussion once Ronaldo and Messi jack it in. Got all the tools

I will be amazed if Kylian Mbappe does not win the Ballon D'Or several times over during his career. Was very fortunate to interview him when he joined PSG and have talked to him since and the World Cup winner will be the best..

P Neville: "I don't think Manchester United have any chance in Paris. PSG have too much European nous, too much class. Even though we didn't see Mbappe at his absolute best, he was still devastating." #mufc

Can Manchester United go to the Parc des Princes and progress further in the Champions League? Or are PSG too strong for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side?
