Just 15 days after being sacked from his post at Tottenham Hotspur, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon that Jose Mourinho will become the new manager of AS Roma.

The 58-year-old will officially take charge of the Italian side from the start of next season, where he will make a sensational return to Serie A - 11 years after his famous treble-winning campaign with Inter Milan.

It hasn't taken long for Mourinho to bounce back after a disappointing spell in North London and, to his credit, 'The Special One' didn't sit back and grumble after being sacked on April 19th.

In fact, he posted a CV-like montage of his greatest moments on Instagram before being appointed at the Stadio Olimpico.

Just a day after being sacked, Mourinho posted a picture from when his Real Madrid side beat Barcelona in the 2011 Copa Del Rey final.

Mourinho then had a seven day break before sharing a picture of his clash with Steven Gerrard on the anniversary of that slip against Chelsea. He wrote: "Anfield, April 27th 2014. Ball possession."

On April 28th, he remembered that famous sprint on the Nou Camp pitch, when his Inter Milan side produced a defensive masterclass to defeat a strong Barcelona side in the Champions League semi-final.

Mourinho continued his Instagram spree with a picture from his first Premier League trophy with Chelsea, when he drank from a bottle of champagne alongside Damian Duff, Arjen Robben and captain John Terry.

"Stamford Bridge. April 29th 2006. Hanging out with some friends on a special day." he wrote.

As you can see from the below posts, the 58-year-old kept on sharing fond memories on his feed before being appointed as the manager of Roma on Tuesday.

You've got to respect the hustle.

How do you think Mourinho will get on during his second spell in Italy?
