So wholesome.

A wholesome moment between Thomas Tuchel and N'Golo Kante on Monday night highlights the humble and shy nature of the French midfielder.

It was a huge night for Tuchel and his Chelsea side as Timo Werner ended a 14-game goal drought to help the Blues climb back into the top four with a 2-0 win against Newcastle.

Olivier Giroud opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a close range finish before that man Werner scored his first Premier League goal after 1000 minutes of trying.

The West London side went on dominate in large parts against Steve Bruce's men and in the second half, N'Golo Kante was brought on to defend their lead.

After the final whistle blew, Tuchel congratulated many of his players on the Stamford Bridge pitch, including Kante.

The German manager clearly tries to get some emotion from the World Cup winner, gassing him up after a solid performance in the middle of the park, but Kante wasn't having any of it.

As you can see in the footage below, Tuchel taps Kante on the chest to suggest he played well but the defensive midfielder was as humble as ever.

It was a moment that many reacted to on social media.

Tuchel recently declared his admiration for Kante after he blew him away in Chelsea training.

"I think N'Golo fits into any manager's plans on the planet. I was desperate to have him in my teams [in the past]," Tuchel told reporters.

"I am so happy to have him back again. We put him on the pitch against Tottenham and he helped everybody on the pitch, which is what he does.

"To see the guy live, to see how he works, how humble he is, the quality he gives to the team. I am so humble to be his coach."

Never change, N'Golo.
