Cristiano Ronaldo Once Silenced Booing Chelsea Fans By Performing 'The Cockiest Move' Ever

Opposition fans over the years have learnt the hard way not to boo and jeer Cristiano Ronaldo, because when that happens he usually improves his game.

After winking to the cameras, after getting Wayne Rooney sent off at the 2006 World Cup, Ronaldo became a piranha in English football to everyone other than Manchester United fans and found himself booed at every ground.

That reaction led him to scoring 17 goals in the league that season, his best season at the time, and a clip of a game against Chelsea in 2008 also proves the point.

Ronaldo attempts a trick as he warms up and the failure leads to him being jeered by Blues fans but he goes again, is successful and stands in defiance in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

At the time his game was very much more about the tricks and flicks of his time as a winger than it would become in later years, when he became a ruthless goalscorer.

Despite the fact he still loved to showboat the hints of what he would become came in that 2007/08 season when he scored 31 goals in the league for United.

His record helped the Red Devils win the league, ahead of Chelsea, and he scored in the Champions League final against Avram Grant's side too.

Ronaldo is now at Juventus but has been constantly linked with a return to Old Trafford ever since leaving the club in 2009.

There were even claims last summer that he could be making the return to England but reports in Italy played down those rumours.

Tuttosport claimed that the 35-year-old has a good relationship with the Old Lady and has no intention of leaving Turin any time soon.
