Cristiano Ronaldo Sings Along To The Champions League Music Like It Was His National Anthem

"THE CHAMPIONNNNNNNS!"

If you haven't placed your hands behind your back and belted out the Champions League song as your family looks on with a hint of embarrassment and regret, then something is seriously wrong.

Head back, eyes closed and a smile on your face - it really is the only way, especially when the biggest competition in club football returns tonight.

Someone who certainly enjoys the tune is former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who gave us a wonderful rendition of the famous anthem before Los Blancos' game against Spurs in 2017.

You often see footballers hold back as the anthem rings out, hiding a smile with a stereotypical 'don't let anybody see you're actually enjoying this moment' face.

Cristiano, on the other hand, had different ideas. As you can see in the footage below, the five time Ballon d'Or winner belts out the song with great affection, something that everybody who loves Champions League football can relate with.

I'd do exactly the same, Cristiano.

On the subject of the classic Champions League anthem, let's remember a classic gesture of love from a dream wedding day.

It's the year 2012 and Catalan couple Marcos and Neus are getting married - a joyous day for everyone involved.

But things peaked in the ceremony when bride Neus decided to pull out the ultimate trump card.

In a moment of sheer joy, she decided to hire the Renaissance Choir of Sant Boi de Llobregat to perform the iconic song and well, the rest is history.

The look on Marcus' face says it all. Two minutes into the incredible performance, the groom punches the air and mouths the words to the iconic anthem. He definitely enjoyed this one.Featured Image Credit:
