Christian Pulisic Stops Post-Match Interview After Noticing Kid Being Dragged Away From Security

He wasn't having any of it.

It was an eventful night for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic, that's for sure.

The 19-year-old ran the show against Liverpool in pre-season, scoring two goals and assisting Jacob Bruun Larsen in the final minutes of the game, later earning the praise of Jurgen Klopp.

He was then denied the Man of the Match award on Sunday afternoon because, listen to this, the prize was sponsored by Heineken and with the legal drinking age at 21-years-old, he wasn't allowed to pick it up.

Before that, though, Pulisic earned the respect of those watching at home when he stopped the interview to help out a kid who wanted his autograph.

In a heartwarming moment, the American international noticed that a security guard held this kid back when he ran towards him but rather than ignoring the situation, Pulisic intervened and urged the man to let him go.

The talented Dortmund man then took a picture with the youngster and in return, made his day with a wonderful gesture.

Pulisic continues to impress on the big stage when he gets the chance, and Jurgen Klopp refused to rule out a move for the 19-year-old in the future.

"He has a contract at Dortmund, no? That's the first problem." the Liverpool manager said.

"I like Christian, I've known him since he was a kid. He's still not really old, he's a fantastic player, and it's deserved people think highly of him in America.

"In Germany, it's the same. If he wants to play in England or whatever one day then for sure he has the chance to do so but he's at a really good club for his development at this moment.

"It's really good to be at a club where they know him already. He had not his best season last year but he was still a decisive player but it's important in that age group that there's no rush.

"He still has 14 or 15 years to play in his career and that's good and he wants to be the best Pulisic he can be. For this, there is still space for development.

"If - at one point - he will join us, I don't know.

"I like him, it's not that that could be the problem, but we respect contracts still and there's no market I know about at the moment. We did our business and Dortmund are doing theirs. All good."

Do you think Pulisic should make a move to the Premier League or should he continue his development at Dortmund?

We'd love to see him in England, that's for sure.
